Create vintage-style brooches, necklaces, bracelets and earrings that are inspired by nature and an appreciation for artisan couture jewelry of the past. The filigree is either authentically vintage or newly stamped from the original dies by a fourth generation American company and then hand embellished and antiqued in my studio.
This is a beginner to intermediate level class. All tools are provided, but if you have your own jewelers tools such as pliers, wire cutters, files, etc., you are encouraged to bring them along as you are used to working with them. Basic linking, forming, wire wrapping beads, riveting, cold forming, etc. are taught as needed to complete the items you select. You choose the degree of difficulty, I provide the materials, tools and instruction.
Please visit my web site to see over 40 kits available for sale. You will purchase the kits the first evening of class and throughout the course. I bring a selection of kits along the first session as seeing the completed piece is much better than seeing just an image. I always have additional kits that may not be listed on my website.
